Alchemy is the ancient and mystical process of turning worthless material into gold. People of all cultures have moved and danced from the beginning of time as a way of transforming negative experiences and emotions into transcendental realities of joy and wisdom . Through sacred movement the ancients received understanding, direction, and moments of grace. They remembered who they were, and actively lived out the sacredness and essential connection to all living things.
As we seek for alchemy in our deepest being, dance, music, and ritual speak to the soul and bridge body, heart and mind. We will offer our physical beings to space and motion, seek out wisdom from within, and create real, direct connections to the beyond as we connect with ancestral and spirit beings. In this journey of transformation, the soul transcends the profane human experience and expands one’s capacity for change, truth, deeper connections, authentic love, and ecstatic experience.

Visudha de los Santos is a ceremonialist, artist and healer who facilitates personal awareness and growth through music and movement. She embodies a deep willingness to live life to the fullest, following her heart and fearlessly shining her own inner light. She is devoted to the bigger love and the bigger dance for herself and all who enter her life. Through her devotion she inspires others to shine, to love more, and to live life to the fullest, as a celebration and a dance. Visudha weaves her 20 years of professional and academic background in community development and expressive arts, with music and movement. She uses her unique mystical relationship with a set of Planetary Gongs, and her knowledge and experience of shamanism, ritual and several movement medicine and energy healing modalities (Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms™, Kripalu DansKinetics®, Authentic Movement, Reiki) to encourage the transformation of individuals and communities. Recognizing the many commonalities of all living beings: everything has a vibratory essence, all is interconnected, the inherent oneness, natural rhythms and cycles, and a deep longing for harmony, Visudha offers a loving, and beautiful space for all beings to transcend time and space and experience transformation physically, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically. Based in Taos, NM, she provides experiences in group, individual and event settings. She teaches classes and workshops internationally. |
